Information we collect

The public waitlist form currently collects your email address. We also record the technical information needed to receive and process your request securely.

Postal details previously provided for the closed complimentary-letter campaign are not collected through the current waitlist form.

Why we use it

We use your email address to confirm your place on the waitlist and send news about the launch, membership availability and Finland Mail Club. We do not accept orders or payments through the waitlist.

Legal basis

Waitlist emails are processed with your consent. You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by using the link in an email or contacting us.

Services and international transfers

Waitlist contacts are stored in Brevo, our email and contact-management provider. The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process information on our behalf. Where information is processed outside the EU or EEA, the provider's applicable transfer safeguards are used.

How long we keep it

Your waitlist email is kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer needed for the stated purpose.

Postal-address information collected for the closed complimentary-letter campaign will be deleted after delivery follow-up and feedback collection are complete, and no later than six months after the final campaign letter is mailed, unless retention is required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restrict or object to processing where applicable, withdraw consent and request a portable copy where applicable. Contact us at finlandmailclub@gmail.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
